Legend of the Alchemist's Chamber

This escape game was created after a legend about a famous alchemist who lived in Prague during the 16th century; his name was Michael Sendivogius (1566–1636) or Michał Sędziwój as his origins were Polish.

Alchemists were the great scientists of their own era. They were doing research and experiments in physics, chemistry, mathematics, philosophy, botanic, optics, astrology and even occultism.

Sendivogius was patronized by Rudolf II. (1552 –1612) during his Prague years, who was a devotee of science and art, rather investing fortunes to find the Philosopher Stone, than spend it on important issues of his empire.

They say after years of unsuccessful research to turn metal into gold, Sendivogius lost the support of the Emperor and he was sent to the deepest dungeons of Prague Castle. But legend has it that Sendivogius discovered the Philosopher’s Stone, but he kept this precious secret from the greedy Emperor. He hid the Philosopher’s Stone in his secret chamber and still today it’s waiting there to be discovered. But only a worthy personage - who can solve all the riddles and mysteries that are protecting the Philosopher’s Stone - deserves the treasure!

Are you ready for the adventure? Find out if the legends are true in this thrilling 60 minutes escape the room quest!
